HOUSE LOCATION
Situated in a very quiet residential area, Gelsi's Place enjoys a good strategic location as it is within walking distance of the historical centre and only a few minutes from the main station as well as the seafront.

Main Station
Lido Centro is the central station of Ostia from which trains depart to reach the center of Rome, as well as the destinations including Ostia Antica, known for its ancient village and famous archaeological ruins.
You can get to the station in less than ten minutes on foot or by bus whose stop is basically around the corner, and it takes only three minutes.
The trains run on a daily basis, on average one train every twenty minutes, and reach Rome in just thirty minutes, with the terminus at Porta San Paolo, from which you can access the subway.

Beaches & Lidos
The nearest beach, strictly sandy, is less than 300 metres away from the apartment and is located on the seafront called Lungomare Paolo Toscanelli.
There are several beaches with free access where you can bring everything you need to enjoy a quiet sunny day by the sea. Free access also for your beloved pet in some dedicated areas.
In addition to the free-access beaches, there are numerous private facilities, the so-called lidos. They are all well-equipped and offer bar and restaurant service, sunbeds and umbrellas, toilets, changing rooms with showers, music and pedalo hire, all supervised by security personnel.
SHOPPING
The quality of life in the area is very high thanks to the presence of numerous services that make everyday life functional. Nearby there are shopping malls, supermarkets, clothing, electronics and telephone shops, indoor and outdoor markets, pharmacies, private clinics, post offices, ATM services, libraries, newsagents, hardware stores, garden centers, in short, everything you need and everything within reach.
ENTERTAINMENT
Ostia also offers a lot in terms of leisure and sport activities for both adults and children. From theatres, multiplex cinemas, bingo halls, game rooms, kids' playgrounds to swimming pools, cycling paths and sports fields for any type of activity, the list is long. The nightlife and social life is animated by events, shows, discos and beach clubs that offer live music and entertainment until late at night.
